MORE than 400 people attended the 23rd Scottish offshore achievement awards dinner at the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel, near Aberdeen.

BBC TV news presenter Jackie Bird left her Glasgow eyrie to come north to make the presentations.

The event was organised by the energy team at Scottish Enterprise.

The P&J sponsored the export achievement award which went to Subsea 7.
